REVEALS - Winter 2011!  
I hope everyone's had a safe and happy holiday season! Firstly, I'd like to thank my co-mod, [info]ubervirgin, for being absolutely amazing to work with. I'd like to thank all of our participants for their hard work and our pinch hitters for stepping in when things got stressful. You're all very beautiful people and I hope that you'll participate in the next exchange if we run one! Notes: I'm pinch hitting, and tried to include all of the prompts (except song lyrics). This fic is set in senior year (3rd season) and assumes Kurt never went to spy on the Warblers, Sugar and Shelby never showed up and Blaine is a senior. Thanks to G, my RL beta who does not have an LJ account.

Notes: I spent ages trying to figure out which prompt I wanted to do-and I really wish I hadn’t had to pinch hit because all the prompts were amazing and I wish I’d had more time to work on them-and then Blaine wanted to be cute and teach Kurt how to ski so I just went with it. Also why is the title always the hardest part to write? Unimaginative title is unimaginative.

Title: I Was Made To Keep Your Body Warm

Summary: It’s nice, Kurt thinks, as he wraps his body around Blaine, chest pressed to Blaine’s back. Intimate in a way he’d never considered before. If he believes in anything outside of himself, it’s the fan of Blaine’s eyelashes against his cheek and the way he breathes in a slightly stuffy way, like he’ll break out into whuffling snores at any second.
Notes: Happy Holidays, Dapperdick! Prompt used was the song “Kiss Me” by Ed Sheeran, which is also the origin of the title. Humongous thanks to C and E who helped whip this thing into shape! I couldn’t have done it without them.

Title: No Regrets, Just Love

Warnings: ANGST, language, mature content, gore (very minimal, just description of an injury), violence, homophobia, mentions of death, character death (NOT Kurt or Blaine, also NOT a canon character from the show. I’ll explain further in the notes).
Word Count: 27, 683
Summary: Blaine’s parents were never very supportive, but neither Kurt nor Blaine ever thought it would come to this. Sometimes things just don’t work out, but sometimes it just might not be the right time.
Notes: Okay, so for the character death: prompter, I know you asked not for it (which I didn’t realize until I was 20k words into the fic, I blame Google Docs), but by the time I noticed, it was too late to ask for clarification. I want to be very clear about this: neither Kurt nor Blaine dies in this fic. The character that passes is an OC (original character) put in the story for plot, you are warned far, far ahead of time, and I promise that I kept it as absolutely positive as I could. I don’t think you will find a more positive fic that includes this subject anywhere, to be honest.

Aside from that, said character makes a small quip about British, but for the love of all that is holy, I promise I didn’t do that to offend anyone. They’re merely being slightly sarcastic, so don’t take it to heart.

Aside from those notes (they sound quite damaging, but I have a pretty positive feeling about this fic), please everyone have a happy holiday season and enjoy!

Notes: I know next to nothing about how Broadway is set up therefore I made the rehearsal process very long because I could. This is a very optimistic view of what could happen in the future. My biggest OTP is Kurt/success so when I saw the prompt 'Kurt and Blaine in NY' my mind immediately went to 'Kurt winning at life with Blaine in New York'. Big thanks to devonwood and wallelf for betaing for me. The musical Psychotic is something I made up but next to normal isn't mine nor is Rent or Gypsy. Anyway, I hope you enjoy!

Summary: In between cleaning stainless steel counter tops and making cups of coffee at his job as manager of Anderson Coffee Inc. in Midtown Manhattan, Blaine dreams of breaking out of the shell he’s been trapped in all his privileged life--though of course his father would never allow him to strike off on his own. When someone sets up shop in the abandoned building next to the coffee shop, Blaine thinks nothing of it save that at least his father won’t complain about it going into disrepair anymore. That is, he thinks nothing of it until he meets Kurt Hummel. Then it basically all goes to shit.
